Synevyr is the largest of the mountain lakes of the Carpathians. It’s beauty in the human imagination causes a variety of images. Therefore, local residents gave the lake more than one name “Sea Eye”, “Pearl of the Carpathians”. If you look at it from a bird’s eye view, a wonderful view opens up – a deep blue water surface in the green of the forest, with a small island in the middle. The lake has a heart shape, and it is surrounded by century beeches and firs. The water in the lake is so clean that you can see the bottom. From a far the water seems bright blue. The air here is nowhere, fresh and light, filled with the scent of pine needles. It seems that the lake is just part of your imagination and you are in the middle of a wonderful dream.
